私生活の中から溢れてしまった、多くの維持しきれない物品を、所有者との交渉を経て展示室内に移動。その展示期間中、ディスカッションを通してそれらを必要なものと不必要なものに分別する。会期中、その分別までのやり取りは壁面に記録され、それらは物品の配置に連動していく。会期終了後不必要と分類されたものは実際に廃棄される。そして残りの物品は持ち主に返却され、生活の中に戻る。

公共と私事の価値判断。判断の一時性とその曖昧さ、選択における権威に付随する切実さと幼稚さ。それらを巡る装置としてのパフォーマンス。

Materials: Various personal possessions brought from storage units, photographs, markers, duct tapes, erector pipes, ropes,

miscellaneous items

Excess material possessions of multiple people, overflowing their living spaces, were brought in to the exhibit space with the respective owner's consent. Throughout the exhibition period, the items were sorted into categories of necessary and unnecessary. The sorting process of each item was transcribed on the exhibition walls, and items were moved around to correspond with such process. The items deemed unnecessary were disposed in reality after the exhibition, while the rest of the items were returned to the owner, re-integrated into each person's life.

The performance functioned as a vehicle through which our value judgements on both public and personal fronts, its ephemerality and ambiguity, as well as its desperation and naïveté were explored.

これらは、一時的廃棄目録でのパフォーマンスの際に生まれた新しい物品をモチーフとして作られた。そしてこれらもまた、作品としての属性を持ちながら、これからしばらく先の未来まで新たな物品の一員として何処かで所有されていく。

The motifs in this body of work are derived from objects created in the process of performance work Temporary list of the waste #2. Now classified as artworks, these objects will be possessed elsewhere as part of new objects, at least for the foreseeable future.
